So yeah... I got an iPod today. I have wanted one for quite a while and, with the upcoming travel madness quickly approaching, decided to buy one. I went to Best Buy on my lunch break, and after using a lifeline (I phoned a friend: my co-worker Denton, who is an iPod owner), I took his advice and went ahead with the purchase of an 80G version in black. I went directly home and started cramming my iTunes audio library (music, podcasts, comedy, etc) onto my new toy. I'm both really excited to have something I've wanted for such a long time, and a little guilty for spending that much money. I think I'm ultimately more pleased than not, so I'll look forward to being able to have a bunch of my music traveling with me without the hassle of a bulky CD case.
Guess I'll be eating ramen for a while ;)
